09.07.05 The pups are born

On July the 4th, Sitawi gave birth to 13 puppies, 5 males and 8 females. Unfortunately one little correct bitch was stillborn, and another correct bitch died 3 days old.

The delivery was very easy, and everything went “by the book”. Now there are 11 left, everyone seems to have show-ridges, no DS detected yet, no kinked tails or colour faults.

The M-litter:

5 boys with show-ridges, one of them liver nosed.

6 girls, two liver nosed, one possibly has a weaker crown on the left side of the ridge, the others most certainly have show-ridges.

Sitawi is a wonderful, calm and loving mother, and it is a pleasure to se how dearly she cares for her babies!

16.05.05 Aretos becomes grandpa’ again
Today Chamika gave birth to 12 pups. Unfortunately on boy was stillborn, and one died shortly after, but the remaining pups are healthy. 10 little once alive, nine of them with showridges, one ridgeless little girl. No DS, kinked tails etc detected so far. Congratulations to Kennel Masithela from me and proud grandpa N CH Copper Queen’s Aretos by Xoxa.

20.03.05 B-litter birthday
Happy 7th birthday to all of you, and a special greating to Sazzy, N UCH Amageba’s Bayete Zawadi, mother of Amageba’s F-litter. Unfortunately, Sazzy are unable to have another litter due to an accident.
She ate a coctailstick (!) and we almost lost her when the very sharp object perforated her tummy and vital organs. Sazzy is now fully owned by Natalija, who has taken care of her always.

11.03.05 Bozo had to say good bye
N UCH Amageba’s Aziwa Buli Mathari had to be put to sleep today due to cancer. We have cried our eyes out, and we miss him so. Dear Gry, the most important person in the world to him; you did every thing possible to save him, but sometimes we have to accept that even the strongest love and hardest effort just can not give us what we want most. He had such a wonderful life with you, and he trusted you completely to the very end. Than you for giving him such a rich life!

O7.02.05 Chivas 12 years old
Our diva, my very best friend and still the dignified, loving leader of the pack, N UCH Savanne’s Chivas CV turned 12 today. Happy birthday to the most special girl I will ever learn to know and love.
THANK YOU!! You are a simply the best.
 

25.04.04 In loving memory
We are so sorry to inform you that Mantis is no longer with us. Amageba's Aziwa Mantis was the first puppy ever to be born at Kennel Amageba. He was a wonderful boy and grew into a very handsome, upstanding and confident male, always on top of every situation and never in a fight.
Mantis was full of life one day, and the next morning found dead - a terrible shock to all of us, and totally heartbreaking for the ones he loved with every fiber in his body, Espen and his family.
Mantis should have been eight years old this May.
Thank you Espen and Gretha for giving him the best life any dog could ever wish for...

18.04.04 Fahari-litter 3 years old
Happy birthday to the F-litter - best birthday present ever to "Mammy" Monica from Sazzy and Aretos.
A special greating to Amagrba's Fahari Mafisadi, now the sire of two litters, one at Kennel Ahali Fani and one at Kennel Kamba Anatulinda.
The pups look very promising.

16.04.04 Third mating
Third and last mating between Thilda and Shangi today. We keep our fingers crossed for this exciting combination. The L-litter will hopefully arrive mid June, ready for delivery aproximately August the 20st. For further information, please go to "Breeding" - upcoming litters section.

We proudly announce the safe arrival og Kennel Amageba's K-litter. By this, INT NORD FR LUX CH NV-01/02 KBHV-03 Ukuhania Scout The Red Baron BIS BISS-01 aka "Scout" and Amageba's Damisi Akela aka "Akela" have added a lot of liver to the Norwegian ridgeback population.

Amageba's Damisi Zawadi's daughter, Løveklippen's Anisa Ljaba, wins her 7th CAC(!) and is also awarded BOS at a show in Kongsberg.

BOB winner, placing #2 in the group, is the father of our G- and K-litter, INT NORD FR LUX CH NV-01/02 KBHV-03 Ukukhania Scout The Red Baron BIS BISS-01.

Amageba's Damisi Zawadi's son, Sparkey, is awarded CAC and is now a dual CAC-winner.

23.11.03 Aretos' daughter Norwegian Winner-03/ "Enzo" champion quality.
Congratulations to Diva, Masithela's Ghalib Diva By Aretos who won CAC, CACIB and BOS at the international Norwegian Winner Show, adding both Norwegian Champion and Norwegian Winner to her merits.

"Scout" managed to win BOB and is now Norwegian Winner 2003 as well. In addition, he became Top Winning Ridgeback in Norway 2003 - third year on a row! Our G- and K-pups are so proud of their dad!

At the same show, Amageba's Gasira Ekundayo,"Enzo", was awarded Champion Quality at his first indoor show. Way to go...

Amageba's Gasira Usitawi is now declared free(A) on hips, which is excellent, and also free of any "nasty stuff" on the elbows.
